[Willow can feel the butterflies flutter in her stomach. She's tried her best to give Tara space, and give herself space and time to recover and reorient herself after the madness of July. It's not as though it hasn't been too difficult - a lot of time has been getting soaked up between the Sleeper Archive, settling back into the rebuilt house, and now the school Ozpin is trying to organize, and never mind the shop.
It's easy to keep busy, but at least in this moment, it's also easy to cut things short to go see Tara as well. It doesn't take her long, thanks to being able to travel via the city's lamp system, and after over a year in Trench, it feels like a perfectly comfortable way to access the Sanctuary. When Willow arrives, she immediately seeks out the Guardian Tree in the garden that seems to be a favored meditation spot.
Whether this is a good talk or a bad talk, she has no idea, but she's hoping for the former, but she can't help feeling anxious.]
[She's a bit nervous as well and unsure if this will do any good. Still, she wants to try, if only so things can at least be more easy for them. It doesn't mean much, except to pave way for more trust and friendship. Maybe to find themselves on the same page again. It's also possible that she's been influenced by the tree? She wants some form of balance in her life again.
She gestured for Willow to sit with her, offering her gloved hands so Willow could channel energy with her.]
[She takes a seat as Tara gestures. There's so much she's learned and wants to share these last few months that they've been apart. About her connection to magic, and about Corruption. Still, she's willing to let Tara take the lead here.
A little smile pulls at the corner of her lips at the offered hands, and she takes them in hers.]
[It's a loaded question, given how much happened and what they need to come to terms with. Tara takes it as the kindness and concern it's meant as, offering a crooked smile, just like the old days.]
I think I'm leveling out my corruption.
[Which is good news, considering her earlier fears about it.]
[It feels like a nice bit of normalcy to sit here with Tara, holding onto her hands as they talk, and Willow can't help but return the smile with a small shy one of her own.]
That's good. Great, even.
[She gives a little shrug in response.]
I've been okay. Better than before. We, uh, have the house rebuilt, and I'm working on keeping corruption away too. So far, so good.
[It's a relief to know Willow is okay. She felt a bit like the old Willow she always loved.
There was a bit of hope that things could grow and be rebuilt, like the house and this sapling.]
You feel like you used to.
[She sighed, happy to have the feeling of Willow's energy around her again.]
I understand how you felt, by the way. When you were addicted to magic. It was hard for me to work through my corruption and I think- I think it was kind of like what you felt.
