Yeah, it's no bother at all. I started researching Corruption awhile back, and that's what leads to Beasthood. There's a few ways to turn people back. Besides killing them, I mean.
There's the Salt Lake - it's out past the Waystation in Trenchwood. When the moon is full, the water is pink, and leading a beast into it will restore them regardless whether or not they're human or animal.
Moon Drops are another option - they'll cure Corruption and Beasthood, but they can be a little harder to come by.
There's also the Blade of Agency - they were given to Sleepers who had a Blessed Day back in February. You have to cut through a beast with it, but it won't do any physical damage to them. It will turn them back from a beast, but it might cause some amnesia too.

I must admit, I would hardly be surprised if death was the only way. To hear there are other methods is rather refreshing.
May I ask, what precisely are "moon drops"? And, does the pink water only possess such a property on the full moon? Or does it tend to remain, should one collect the water for later use?
Moon drops look like little stones. Some of the Pthumerians give them out. I know a bunch of people got them from The Reckoning in back in July for, uh. Indulging in her thirst for vengeance thing.

Oh? They give them out? Does that mean one can actually encounter one of the Patrons? I was under the impression they were somewhere removed from this town.
Ah, yes. Salt water would be a terrible thing to purposefully ingest. It does, however, assist greatly in the kitchen. ^_^
Oh yeah, the patrons are around. I've met a few of them in the last year. Some of them are even pretty helpful. This time last year, Cloverfield hung around the shore a lot. He's huge, but he's very gentle as long as you're nice to him, and sad.
Yeah, not sure I'd use the lake water in the kitchen in it's truest form, but I've heard you can extract the salt from it for cooking.
Yeah, I mean, they're people too. They just look different, and act different, and at least some of them sound different. But that doesn't mean they're without feelings.
I've never tried cooking with ocean water myself, but I think I've heard that before, yeah. I kind of just stick to simple recipes, and after being a squid, it's kind of hard to look at seafood the same way?
I don't know if I'd really consider them gods, exactly. They're a little more hands on than that. I guess you could consider them comparable to either Greek or Roman gods if you're looking for that kind of comparison. Just where they all do have emotions and particular interests and stuff.

A little bit of both, really. You can find all kinds of information on them in the Archives, and sometimes just from talking to people who've had their own encounters with them.

I don't know how common it is. Some people seem to get lucky and find people they know from home here, though. I was the only one from my world here - well, between here and Deerington - for about a year.
Oh, burgers are usually ground beef patties on a bun. People put all kinds of things on them - tomato, lettuce, ketchup, mustard. Whatever you like. Here, sometimes you can get them with mushrooms instead. They're a pretty good substitute.

Though, it probably means eating squid could be seen as cannibalism, unfortunately.
