Was this what having friends beyond the circle of the Nightbrothers was like? Even then, Nightbrothers refused the word friend. Mostly, it was confusing.

[Savage made a growl of understanding. Sometimes his brother just said things while also attempting to process. It seemed to happen more and more as his brother made stride for self-betterment.]

The messages seem regretful, but she is entirely at they may only be so because he's sorry for the damage he's done to his relationships more than the harm he's done to her. Still, she'll accept that there is at least momentary peace and be grateful he wasn't there when she crawled out of the ocean.

I was, yeah. It went away after a bit, though. Hopefully the whole... no memories of this place goes away too. But yeah, that's my guess - like with Deerington, it'll get better on its own eventually.

Unless something's changed a whole lot in the last... however long it's been since I came here, it seems like that's the most likely explanation. I know he threatened me, John, and Luna on the network - I didn't go looking for it myself or anything, but I heard about it. I'm guessing he came to make good on that threat, and realized afterwards maybe he shouldn't have.
