I've been developing a short-range teleportation spell for Mako and Ruby's safehouses. They're talismans activated with a drop of blood. They're one-time use and have set destinations, but they work much faster than the lamp network.
[Of course she's going to give Ford a way out of a situation where he might have to see Ozpin if he wants it.]
I can come get them, if that's easier for you. After getting on the network like that, I don't think Maul will come after anyone until it blows over a little. He's a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them.
And hey - [She grins] now I have a pretty good excuse to come visit your lab.
Only if you're certain. Even if he won't strike deliberately there's nothing to say he won't take advantage of an unexpected opportunity. It's more dangerous for you to travel to my home than the other way around.
