Chapter 2 Attributes
• Canon Powers: Willow is a witch in her world - her magic is entirely ritual based. The spells she could use varied wildly from simple spells, like turning ice into fire to bringing Buffy back from the dead. When she was first learning, there were consequences as a result of trying a spell that took too much power - primarily she's suffered from nosebleeds, headaches, and occasionally collapse from pushing herself too far too fast.
Her of canon magic will be nerfed as a consequence of sacrificing her own egg in Deerington, as well as her last canon conversation with Giles where she said, out of frustration, that he and the coven in Devon should just take her power from her. She will still be able to attempt spells with her previous magic, but they will not have the intended effect.
• Blood Type: Paleblood
• Omen: Cross fox named Puck
• Blessed Day: May 5th
• Patron Pthumerian: Bausphomette
• Blood Power Manifestation: Focus will be on her feeling too much for the most part until she learns a degree of control, as she is naturally a very empathetic person to begin with. When corrupted, though, she may swing to the opposite end of the spectrum, and become completely void of emotion.
Overall, Willow will start out being very cautious of her new magic - blood magic in her world is powerful and often strongly connected to the sort of dark magic that she has avoided using since nearly destroying the world. Primarily, her new powers will manifest as a blend of empathic/telepathic abilities. Most will require a ritual or blood sacrifice, but there will be some mild passive skills there as well. In the later stages of Corruption, she will be more powerful and far more likely to use blood magic offensively.
Empathy - Willow will be able to pick up on the emotions of those around her (with OOC permission). There is also a chance if she's not careful, or not paying attention, she may inadvertently begin to mirror the emotions of someone she's interacting with, particularly in times of stress, or heightened emotions. She may also reflect what she feels from others in times of confusion - after death, for example.
Corruption Warp: The ability to inflict emotions on others (with OOC permission).
Visions - As a direct consequence of trying to cast spells from her own canon, or backfiring blood magic. This may also result in migraines, nosebleeds, or fainting spells, similar to what she would experience at home if she attempted a spell beyond her skill level. Visions will be tied to the type/difficulty of the spell that triggered it, and side effects will be affected by how consequential the vision is.
Telepathic Invisibility - The ability to use hallucinations to make oneself invisible. Will not work on anything mechanical or the undead, and can be resisted. It will only work for a short period of time, and duration will be connected to the number of people she is trying to hide. It's not an ability she'll be able to use right away, and will become more stable with practice.
Corruption Warp: She will be able cause hallucinations in others - most likely either emotionally manipulative hallucinations, or downright terrifying ones.
Dream/Mind Walking - Willow won't be able to use this right away - it will require a ritual and a blood sacrifice, and she will have to do some research to discover the ability. It will allow her to go into a trance to enter the mind of another person. She is most likely to use this to help pull others back from Corruption, help them uncover lost memories. She will maintain the ability while corrupted herself, but will be far more likely to use it to harm others than to help.
